Royce Da 5'9" - We Deep (Yung Berg Diss)

Last Wednesday I was at the Music Brokers Studios here in Detroit, MI and I ran into Royce Da 5'9" who was also there recording music for his soon to be release mixtape project, "The Bar Exam 2". I walked into the room which he was recording in to hear a record featuring Trick Trick which would turn out to be, "We Deep". Through out the song both Royce and Trick take subliminal shots at opponents. Although there are no names thrown out on the record, many can assume who the lines are directed. The track was produced by Denaun Porter. Take a listen for your self and comment on what you think

Obie Trice Leave Shady/Aftermath

According to RapBasement.com

The second signee to Eminem's famous Shady Records, is no longer a member of the label. After eight years and two albums through Shady, Obie has left. Terry Wilson, Obie's long time manager, says “Obie and Shady were moving in different directions,” continuing, “But he still has a great relationship with Shady Records. He has some big plans for his World Wide Hustle label.” Obie is currently working on his third album while he figures out his new label situation. Obie did release a track explaining why he left Shady Records called "The Giant" [listen here]. In the song he indicates his problem may have been with Interscope, Shady's parent label, saying "I murdered e’ything when I wore the Shady logo,” he spits after announcing there’s no more Shady. O is a mogul/Low on the totem pole ‘cause Interscope’s loco/Now I’m gettin’ mo’ dough.” Obie's first album Cheers went platinum, but his second album Second Round's On Me didn't do too well. Obie's third album will follow the theme being called Bottoms Up.
